This is one of Chicco's more expensive options, however it is packed with lots of features. It's designed to function as an individual side sleeper or standalone crib, and is suitable from birth to six months. It's easy to open and close the side panel with a brand new mechanism. It's also more adjustable than its predecessor, having 11 different height levels and feet that retract to fit under any bed.

Our testers were impressed with the simple access to the side panel, which can be moved up and down at the touch of one button. This was an enormous help in feedings at night because it meant they could easily reach in and take their baby away without disturbing them up.

It is possible to lower the side panel it's own, however this is not recommended, because it increases the chance that your child will fall out of the cot. Overall, it was an easy procedure and the quality of materials used was high.

In the co-sleeping position, we discovered the Shnuggle Air to be an ideal choice for breastfeeding mothers and women who have had a C-section because it lets them easily reach out to their baby for comfort and feeding without having to leave their bed. It's also great for parents who wish to avoid the difficulty of getting into and out of a traditional cot or placing their baby down to sleep.

The gliding motion was found to be very helpful in lulling babies into sleep following feedings at midday or night. The drop-down side can also be easily accessed to feed or soothe babies during the middle of the night this was a huge benefit for our exhausted test mothers. While it doesn't rock or have additional features like a sound machine, the Joie Roomie Glide's elegant design and practicality make it a great addition to our top crib reviews for bed.
